Already in 1930 Otto von Gruber edited his famous book Ferienkurs in Photogrammetrie as an outcome of the 6th Photogrammetric Week. The founder of the Institute for Photogrammetry (ifp) Prof. Fritz Ackermann started a publication series of the Institute for Photogrammetry in 1972, and therefore was able to archive all Photogrammetric Week series which took place in Stuttgart (since 1973). Since 1993 the proceedings were published as a textbook in the Wichmann publishing house.
